Bark Art

Bark Art is one of the most unique aspects of our business. While searching for downed Aspen trees, Kris discovered the beauty of the older bark that had fallen off the trees. With the goal of re-purposing this beautiful bark into artwork, Bark Art was born. Each Bark Art piece is unique; mounted on repurposed art bases and each uses natural materials to compliment the beauty of the bark centerpiece.

FLoral Designs

Our floral designs range from small table top arrangements to grand, statement making centerpieces . We use the highest quality faux florals (or a mix of faux and natural) to create custom floral arrangements for the most stunning visual effect. Seasonal arrangements and special occasion custom orders are a favorite part of our business! It’s a big, beautiful, colorful world!

Seasonal Florals

The seasonal changes in the Wasatch are always a special time, and our florals reflect the natural beauty that each season brings. Whether it’s a light and colorful spring spray, a beautiful fall arrangement filled with the warmth of the changing colors in nature or a holiday arrangement reflecting the splendor of the season, we can create the perfect accent to your seasonal decor.

Lighted aspen trees

The “Highlight” and biggest (literally) part of our business is our Lighted Aspen Trees.

All of our Lighted Aspen Tree creations are made from locally sourced Aspen trees. We work with landscapers and private property owners to re-purpose downed Aspens into stunning, light filled creations. Each tree is custom designed and hand made according to our client’s wishes, making every build unique and a beautiful compliment to it’s surroundings.

Commercial

We owe much of our start to the various commercial businesses that we collaborated with in our early days. Among the businesses that we are proud to call our clients:

Eidelweiss Art Gallery, Spruce Interiors, Kringles, Fusion HairSalon,Red Ledges Clubhouse, Ruth Chris’s, Lake house and the Midway Mercantile Restaurant where we decorated the entire “Aspen Grove” tented patio area of the restaurant in the winter. Our deep appreciation to all of them as we look forward to expanding this part of our business.

We will work with you to create the perfect embodiment of your style, theme and vision for your event. Weddings, parties and gatherings of all types deserve a beautiful backdrop. We love helping stage spaces, whether it is for an open house or a special event, we can make it happen. We take the stress out of decorating for any purpose by covering all the details for you, providing the perfect backdrop and ambience with one call.

handmade cutting Boards

Branching Out is a family affair. Kris Ward, owner/designer, has a son with Muscular Dystrophy. Jared is in a wheelchair, but he loves construction and woodworking and has found a creative outlet in making butcher block cutting boards. These cutting boards are hand made by Jared and his father Steve. The two of them also do all of the bark fabrication for the Bark Art creations. You can design your own through custom orders.
